Hmm... is still not working

My problem is a little different. I am able to get to the ready to log on sceen and it stucks at that page and screen shows up for 2-3 sec. and it goes blank and I tried your way and is not working. so within that 2-3 sec i tried to shut down my computer. and when the computer shuts down, my monitor shows a monitor message the monitor goes to sleep mode. So is it Vista problem or Monitor problem..

Start your computer and tap the F8 key as soon as the computer begins to power-up. Keep tapping until you come to the Safe Mode screen. When the screen alerts you to the fact that you have chosen Safe Mode, click OK.

When you get to the desktop go to the control panel and launch System Properties. Go to Hardware and Device manager. Click the arrow next to the Display Adapter. Point at the adapter, right click and chooser Properties. Click the Driver Tab. Roll back the video driver to previous driver.

If indeed you have installed a new driver that is not compatible with your video card, then rolling it back to the original may very well take care of this problem.

Good luck!

I have two facebook pages and I want to access both pages

Log out of one by clicking the little gear icon in the upper-right then clicking "Log Out." You'll then be able to log in to the other account.

Alternatively, use two different web browsers and log each one into a different account.

Every time i try to make my little girl a screen name on facebook singup it puts me on my profile.

Make sure your logged out of your Facebook account if your in stay logged in mode than your on even if you do not have a page displayed, you must physically go to your page and choose the log out link. then your ready to create the new Facebook account. remember there is a age limit to Facebook, which is 13 you can create the account but administrators offten scan new subscriptions and if they learn you are under 13 the account will be deleted. Hope this helps take care

Can only get "4:3" and "compressed 16:9" screen format. Want full "16:9" not compressed. How?

HDTV ready means that it will process HDTV signal to be viewed on you set. The size of your screen is still in a 4:3 ratio. Unless you have a true 16:9 size sceen you cannot get the full 16:9 picture. The actual physical size of the sceen is what makes TV's true HD or not. In other words, the screen has to be twice as wide as it is tall or 16:9. Your screen is almost square or 4:3. It can only show a compressed version of the 16:9. Thanks for using fixya.

Dell B120-loads but no log on page seen

I have the same problem with my Inspiron 8200 - it's the video driver. The system will load but then no log on screen. The solution until you can get an updated driver is to do a power-off reset.

More information is required. Your backlight is lit (screen not dark) but I need to know what you have connected to the TV (your sources) and how they are connected. Does the menu/OSD (on screen display) work?

You may be able to reach it through taking off the back cover and wiping the screen down. If not you will have to remove the screen assembly.
