KYOCERA MITA KM-1500 ERROR CODE C7980

C-7980 - Means that the waste tonerresevoir in the process unit is full with less than 100,000 copies onthe unit.
Clean/ empty the waster toner and vac.Also clean the sensor.
You may have to change the Process unit if cleaning does not work.

My Kyocera KM 1820 is saying there is toner overflow that needs to be emptied?

Open the front cover and locate the waste toner bottle. Empty it out and see if that corrects the problem. If that doesn't work, clean the bottle after emptying it. If the doesn't work, replace the waste toner bottle with a new one.

How does the copy quality look?

First check the neck of the bottle and clean it if dirty
secondly if this does not cure the fault then the sensor in the drum assembly is probably dirty. You will ether have to strip off the end of the drum and clean the led and photo sensor or replace the drum unit.

Disposal Tank is on the Process Unit... you will have to remove the screw on the left side then pour it out on the bag...

Don't know where it is but it has to be a white almost transparent bottle, most likely in the back of the machine, you will have to open the back and look for it.
