Tip

Asking Questions on Fixya

When asking questions on any site it is best to be descriptive as possible. It will get you answers faster and it will make people want to answer quicker, seeing as to how they don't need to squeeze important troubleshooting information out of you. If any one reads this tip you will begin to notice the very short 3 word questions that infect this site are rarely looked at much less answered... Though surely real issues or problems or questions could have been answered if the questioner had of gave a little more detail. Sometimes completely unrelated things are going to have some affect on the issue at hand. So remember give detail when asking questions be descriptive if you can't describe it attach a screenshot or image and ask what you what to know about it how to fix a certain portion of it. Anyone that enjoys answering peoples questions and helping them will also surely agree... It would help us help you if we got more information from the beginning.

When I try to resize my partion it own use up any unallcoted memory there is but when i do it on the other drive it uses that unallcoted space any help will be great thanks in advance

I am not 100% sure what you are asking, but I know that the main boot drive of Windows 7 needs a little set aside that the OS uses, so you cannot access the entire amount of allocated drive space.

If this is not what you are asking, can you please clarify?

Many thanks

How do I select drag/drop music to transfer from computer to scan disk mp3 player

Connect your MP3 to your PC. Goto My Computer in Windows XP, or Computer in Vista/7, open the device that is your MP3, copy the songs to that device, and wait untill it's done. Be sure that it's in .mp3 format, or in .wav if your player can handle that. I hope this helped you, and you can now listen music on your MP3 player. Don't hesistate to ask me more! Thanks, and have a great day.

I need to restore my computer to factory settings

Ok, first, you are asking a very interesting question since you have Win7 HP 64bit, but you do not know how to reset to factory settings? First, why do you have a 64bit version of Win7? Most people pay a processing penalty for this, so I do not understand, unless you run Fourier Analysis on your screensaver :P
My next issue is I am not sure what you mean by factory settings? Normally this means performing a full new install without data backup, etc... If I recall my Windows manual correctly, aside from backup/restore, which it does not sound like you have that setup, there is no other magic button to push to get to factory settings, unless of course you have a recovery disk and know your way around that. Sounds like a full install is warranted, you probably should make sure any data you have is backed up somewhere before doing that though, or you will lose it.

Boyfriend lost

Have you tried Google?

Kidding aside - Look for stable items in your life. For example, you always have yourself. You might have parents. Find out what you can count upon. Find out what is not going to change.

Truth be told, there is nothing, NOTHING in this universe that can hurt you. This is as stable as it gets. Sound crazy? If you don't understand, don't worry. Just have a little faith in a complete stranger.

Hi, sometimes when changing, or upgrading Programs or Software (Systems Configuration) will set to a (Default) service state automatically. To be certain that the changes to the (Applications) take place; be sure to make the change correctly by doing the following. 1. Enable Ready Boost. 2. Remember to always, click Apply! 3. Click (OK) 4. Restart your computer; this will help to identify, and configure the changes made to the system, on your computer. Thanks paul7of9

Trojan.zlob

First thing to do is to download and run a decent anti-virus and anti-spyware program. The best free ones at the moment are AVGfree and AVGAS which are available for download from; http://www.free.grisoft.com/ Download the 2 programs, install them, update them, and then run a full system scan - first with the anti-virus then with the anti-spyware program. Hopefully they will find and deal with your trojan. Please ask again if you need more info, the AVG programs are very clear and simple to use :)
