Question about Maxtor Personal Storage 3200 (U01E200) 200 GB Hard Drive
Just recently my Maxtor external Hard drive has stopped working. The laptop recognizes it periodically. On the inside at times it sounds like a ball bearing is dropping. When it does show up as one of the drives its stalls and eventually a I/O device error appears.
I had this problem also. It was either dropped or something fell on it. You have to get it repaired or a new one. If you have VERY important information that cannot be replaced, consider a data recovery service from your local stores.
Good luck with your Drive.

a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
