The LCD Screen Model No.LC-52D64U has some scratches and it is not clear to watch the programmes. We would like to have a replacement of the screen.

hold down the power switch on the TV til it resets, and you should be fine.

Sounds like the power supply. A lot of these TVs use power supplies with cheap capacitors. When the go bad or get weak the backlight will stop working. You will need to either replace the power supply or if you know someone skilled with a soldering iron and electronics, trace down the bad capacitors and replace them.

I' not sure what QAM means, but if your TV pixelizing and freezing up, you are having problem with the cable (old cable, damaged cable etc.) or a cable service.
