Hi, Whenever i install Nokia PC Suite with nokia connectivity cable driver and restart my HP dv2762 laptop, my primary memory hard disk space reduces by 1 to 2gb every time. I have already lost 8 GBs. Tried restoring the laptop also but no use.... Kindly Help me.

Do you keep losing 1 to 2 gb / per restart? if so it may be a malicious code/virus. The only thought i can see is that the Nokia PC Suite/ Driver can just use 1 to 2 gb. Just as the Microsoft Office Suite uses around 1 to 2 GB. Hope this helps! get back to me :]

For your driver need, you may just install Nokia PC Suite, where it installs the driver and other necessary software, including the software needed for you to use the phone as an internet device.
just go to that link, install the software, and you are set. Please do not connect the USB data cable to the PC yet, until the software installation is finished. After all has been installed just plug the USB data cable in the PC and the phone, and follow the instructions on-screen.

Please uninstall Nokia PC suite from your computer control panel.
Then download and install Nokia PC suite from link http://nds1.nokia.com/files/support/global/phones/software/Nokia_PC_Suite_eng_web.exe
Did you follow the instruction on how to install the PC Suite? Their instruction is to install the PC Suite without you connecting the mobile via USB. After finishing the installation you will have to restart your laptop then connect the mobile phone via USB then it will auto detect possible drivers the mobile may need.
Try connecting to another usb port, directly on the computer, also check that the cable is plugged into the phone properly.
if either connector is broken it wont get recognized.
try atleast 5 times, reconnect the cable, try other ports etc, turn off the phone, turn it back on, restart your computer.
Try with another computer, if the problem persists on all computers and no matter what you do, then you have either a faulty phone, broken connector or in very rare cases broken cable.
if you replace the cable and the problem remains then its either faulty phone or broken connector on the phone.
contact your seller for warranty replacement.

Install Nokia Pc Suite software on you PC and do not connect the
USB connectivity cable before or during the Pc Suite installation.
When the Nokia Pc Suite installation is finished, Nokia Pc Suite

My guess is that it is due to temporary files on your system. Check to see how much space the program takes up. Also try using Disk Cleanup to cleanup your hard disk. Disk Cleanup is located under accessories.
