Dometic RM2652 not running

Hello, my dometic fridge is not running. The power button does not lite up at all. I checked the fuses and all were fine. I found a web site that said the power board might have gone out. It does act like it has not power, but all fuses are fine.

My unit lost all power as well. On/Off doesn't work, no lights inside. Checked all breakers and fuses in trailer and also the fuses in the control module of the refrigerator. All outlets were checked and all work fine. Disconnected from AC and used battery power only, but no difference. Thinking the ON/OFF control is separate and there is a fault there. Manual for refrigerator doesn't provide much help.

Mine is doing the same thing, I do not have the problem solved yet but I can tell you to start with the reset button located on the heater. (Thermofuse) small black button you push. then restart your troubleshooting. This button kills all power to the unit, lights, etc etc.

Check for voltage (DC) at the source input just before the board on the outside under the coils make sure the connections are not corroded. If you have less than 10.5it will not work. If you have correct voltage remove the board and test at repair center that sales boards.

Dometic RM2652 was working fine then stopped - no lights at the control panel above the doors.

Usually there is a short in the system when fuse is blown. Check the cord as sometimes mouse can damage the cord. It is a posibility.
Check power to the electronic board.

I Have a Dometic RM2652 it heats up in the back, but, neither the fridge or freeze will cool down.. I've checked the fuses, tried gas and electric.

First thing I would do is check this dometic site for recall information. Have model and serial number ready.

Check your 12 volt ground

Unplug the fridge. Remove the cover from the circuit board, unplug the 2 wires going to the heat element and do an Ohms reading should be 35-45 Ohms. If the Ohms is good then you need a circuit board as long as you have checked the 110 volt fuse on the circuit board.
Thanks for using Fixya
