There is no button on these, there is a setting in the wireless configurator that allows you to enable/disable the radio. Make sure the radio is enabled. Radio throws most people, all it is is the wireless card. The card works on frequency, so therefore is considered a radio, confusing, I know. If the radio is enabled or it still doesn't work after enabling it, you may have a driver glitch, then uninstall the wireless drivers from the device manager, and reboot. The machine will find the wireless and reinstall the drivers. This should get you up and running.

First you have to have the right equipment both the wireless modem or router and the hubs USB or other wise the adapters. Then you have to know the password key for your wireless connection. If you do not have one it is suggested you provide one to protect your privacy and keep others from draining your connection. "Private Network Important" Any machines you are allowing to join the network have to log in using the same WAP credentials or log in information. Once this is established you will be able to access your wireless connection with any computer that comes in to play using your connection. So make sure these are perfectly correct. Other than this contact your provider for assistance. I know that can be a pain since support these days are confined to high school or overseas folks answering questions.
Start with the main computer first. Set information up just the first and main machine. Then configure the rest of your devices with the same information you worked out with the main it has to be exact. I hope that you get this solved it can be frustrating. John

Thanks to the experts in Fixya. I can now see the wireles in my school but can not connect to it because each time i try to connect it will write " WPA not supported by your wireless adapter, contact...

this usually means that your wireless network adapter is not compatible with WPA security. try updating your wireless driver and if that does not work, your option would be to purchase a wireless USB adapter that supports WPA. else, check with the network admin at your school for other options. hope this helps

Trouble with wireless card

Something has gone wrong with your internet home connection--obviously nothing is the matter with your wireless connectivity hardware. You should reconfigure your home wireless connection. Follow the directions in Vista or XP help to set up a new home wireless connection. There are various ways to do this, such as through a router. If you have a home wireless router, be sure to set it for WEP incryption, or your neighbors will be able to get on your internet free.

Wireless Internet Connection

Hello, You won't need to do anything. When the connection is made from your laptop to the wireless signal at school, an IP address will be assigned dynamically(automatically). Just turn it on and if it doesn't connect within 20-30 seconds, click start, control panel and then network connections. Follow directions and it will connect for you. Hope this helps, Good luck..
