My internet does not want to work every time I try to go to my gmail it say's that it could'nt find the server but before it never did that so if you send me an email I can't read it because it won't let me in oh and my password is okay just in case

Reboot, then reopen browser. Clear cache if needed

I can send gmail and have internet access, but am not receiving emails I know have been sent


It might be an issue with your SMTP servers. My mom was having the same issues on her iPhone with gmail. Receiving and unable to send. I deleted the gmail account then re-add it. Under the advanced settings in mail confirm the SMTP server is the correct one for gmail. Forget which one it was but you can google it. See if that does the trick for you. Worked for my mom.

My Pandigital Super Nova tablet is having trouble with gmail. Can't find server. I've change password, helped for awhile, now that is'nt working either.


you might check to see if there is a update with your internet service
provider for the problem
you can also check with gmail technical support & tell them about the
problem your having

AND IF IT IS GMAIL

INCOMING SERVER MAIL : POP.GMAIL.COM
OUTGOING SERVER MAIL : SMTP.GMAIL.COM

GIVE OK AND TRY TO SEND ONCE AGAIN.
DEFENETELY IT WILL GO

hi just go to ur www.gmail.com and sign in first the problem i not with ur account just check whether u have typed ur user id and password correctly the problem may be with ur server sometimes it happens due to blockage of server signals try reloading the page if this doesn't works click on forgot password and answer the security ques. which u have saved while creating the account they will send u ur new password and paste it in ur sign menu in password tab ur account will be opened and u can reset ur old password in the settings tab on the top right corner of ur account was this useful if yes pls vote for me

How to configer email address in lotus notes


From what provider are you trying to configure email?If its gmail,

1. Create a Lotus Notes database file to store your POP emails: Lotus Notes does not create a file automatically as Thunderbird or other mail clients do but you have to manually point the mails to flow to a file that is already existing.
2. In the local Address Book, create two accounts for accepting incoming email and sending outgoing email on Gmail. Names are not important but the configuration on the two accounts is!
Account document for Incoming Gmail:
The Basics tab
a. Account name: Can be anything (I chose In Gmail)
b. Account server: pop.gmail.com
c. Login Name: Your gmail email address (complete with the @gmail.com)
d. Password: Your password
e. Protocol: POP
f. SSL: Enabled
g. Only from Location(s): Doesn't matter. Although I would recommend creating a location document specific for Gmail if you are also using Domino Server. I chose creating a location (Gmail).
Protocol Configuration tab: There is only one field here and it doesn't matter what you do with it.
Advanced Tab: This is the most important tab.
a. Port Number: 995
b. Accept SSL site certificates: Yes (Most of the articles on the web tell you to choose No here. But it does work. Trust me. I have tried it)
c. Accept expired SSL certificates: Yes. (Most of the articles on the web tell you to choose No here. But it does work. Trust me. I have tried it)
d. Send SSL certificates when asked (outbound connections only): No.
e. Verify account server name with remote server's certificate: Disabled
f. SSL protocol version: V3.0 with V2.0 handshake
3. Click on Save and Close to save the document and exit. Now you will need to create another account document to handle the outgoing email.
Account document for Outgoing Gmail:
The Basics Tab
a. Account Name: Can be anything. I chose Out Gmail
b. Account server name: smtp.gmail.com
c. Login Name: Your gmail email address (complete with the @gmail.com)
d. Password: Your password
e. Protocol: SMTP
f. SSL: Enabled
g. Only from Location(s): Doesn't matter. Although I would recommend creating a location document specific for Gmail if you are also using Domino Server. I chose creating a location (Gmail).
Advanced Tab: This is the most important tab.
a. Port Number: 587 or 465 (Both are SSL port and both work)
b. Accept SSL site certificates: Yes (Most of the articles on the web tell you to choose No here. But it does work. Trust me. I have tried it)
c. Accept expired SSL certificates: Yes. (Most of the articles on the web tell you to choose No here. But it does work. Trust me. I have tried it)
d. Send SSL certificates when asked (outbound connections only): No.

4. Once these two documents are created, I would recommend creating a location document to ensure that you separate your gmail from your other Domino based account on the client. The steps to create are:
5. In the same local Address Book, choose New --> Location
Basics Tab:
a. Location Type: Local Area Network
b. Location Name: Can be anything (I chose Gmail)
c. Internet Mail Address: Your gmail email address
Leave the rest as it is.
Servers Tab:
a. Home/Mail server: pop.gmail.com
Leave the rest as it is.
Ports tab: No changes (ensure TCPIP is checked)
Mail Tab (Most important):
a. Mail file location: Local
b. Mail file: My Gmail.nsf (whatever you created in step 1 above).
Update: A couple of readers pointed out that I had missed an important step in the configuration how-to. So here it is. Step C has been added to include the missed step.
c. Internet domain for Notes addresses when connecting directly to the Internet: gmail.com
d. Send Outgoing mail: directly to Internet
Leave the rest of the fields as it is.
6. There is no need to change the rest of tabs. Click on Save and Close to create the document.
Change to the the new location and you will see Gmail getting downloaded in the mail file you created.

Outlook configuration


To set up your Outlook 2007 client to work with Gmail:
  1. Open Outlook.
  2. For new setups, select Do not upgrade.
  3. Click Yes.
  4. Enter your display name, email address (including '@gmail.com'), and password. Google Apps users, enter your full email address, e.g. 'username@your_domain.com.'
  5. Select the 'Manually configure server settings or additional server types' checkbox.
  6. Select Internet E-mail.
  7. Settings: name, full email address (including '@gmail.com' or '@your_domain.com')
    1. In the Account Type dropdown menu, select IMAP; enter the incoming and outgoing server names shown below.
    2. In the 'User Name' field, give your full Gmail address, including '@gmail.com' or '@your_domain.com.'
    3. After creating these settings, clicking Next takes you to the end of the setup.
    4. In the Tools menu, select Options then Mail Setup. Under 'Email Accounts,' click E-mail Accounts.
    5. Select an account, and click Change above the list of accounts. Click More Settings, then the Advanced tab.
      • Incoming server must be 993, and must use SSL encryption.
      • Outgoing server can use 587, TLS encryption.
  8. Click the Outgoing Server tab. Make sure that 'My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication' is selected. The radio button 'Use same settings as my incoming mail server' should also be selected.
  9. Click OK > Next > Finish > Close > OK.

try to use a different internet browser if you have..
if still not work, try to check if your using a proxy server. ^_^
