YOUR WINCHESTER WAS MANUFACTURED IN 1948. THIS MODEL WAS MADE FROM 1939 TO 1955 IT ISN'T PARTICULARLY RARE WORTH WOULD DEPEND ON CONDITION. GO TO A GUN SHOW AND LOOK FOR SIMILAR GUNS IN SIMILAR CONDITION. A QUICK LOOK AT AN ON LINE GUN AUCTION LISTED A WINNING BID FOR A MODEL 74 AT $ 176.00 PHOTO SHOWS IT TO BE IN GOOD CONDITION

It is worth what ever a purchaser will pay. The Blue Book of Gun Values is a great guide to firearms values. You will need to know the Model, the Grade, and the caliber and the condition to determine the book value. Send me the specks and I can do that for you.
