install Blackberry Desktop on your computer and download the latest Blackberry Phone software from your carriers webite and instal it on your computer. Then connect your phone WITHOUT the battery to your PC and Click on App Loader. Follow directions and install the Software. The Installation WILL FAIL THE 1ST TIME. Thats normal. This time connect the phone WITH the battery and try the same thing again and you will have a brand new phone. except your Data.
The only solution I can think of if you have had the 10 attempts and not been successful is to call your network provider - They will be able to give you the unblock code and allow you back into your phone.
The technically correct way to reset a BB is to remove the battery and reinsert after 5 minutes. Unfortunately the only way to recover this error is to reinstall all of the software. You absolutely need access to a computer with the BB desktop software installed on it. Once you have that you can follow the steps listed here: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB03621
I have my Blackberry 100 and I have JVM Error 513 reset.
I have the desktop manager and when I plug in my phone to the pc and try to instal the softwere my pc can't find USB.
Does anybody know what to do in this situation??
The best way to fix any JVM error is to reinstall the device software. This is the same process as if you had to reinstall your OS (windows) for example on your PC. You will lose all information but you device will be reset to the state of when you first removed it from the box when purchased.
