Sony KP-57WS520 57

Hi,
I have Sony KP-57WS520. It stops working. I followed all the trouble shoots from the user manual, but the Stand by light still blink 9 times then stop, then blinks same pattern again. Please help for solutions. I can sold or de-sold or replace circuit board if you tell me what to do and where to bay them, if there is a need.
Thank you very much,
SV

The 9 blinks on your TV means:
+/- 19V line is shorted
IC708 could be defective
PS701 or PS702 is opened.

To do this repair you will need to have basic electronics knowledge that includes hand soldering, use of a DVM and be very careful when working around high voltage.

Sony KP-511HW40 fleshing with green color and shuts off

this is a common fault adjust the little black box in front behind the small wooden cover. you will see 6 controls don't adjust any of the top 3 only the bottom knobs 1 for each color. slowly back the control counterclockwise turn the set on and wait untill it shows a picture, slowly adjust the control for the color in question utill the color balance is correct- black and white with the color setting turned down all the way with the user menu when balance is ok you are all set.. turn the color back up with user control. rtepeat process if needed.

7 blinks followed by 8 blinks

The buzzing sound you hear is typically the FBT shorting out when you turn the TV on. If you open the back panel and watch the FBT as you try to turn on the TV you can see it shorting out. It will be obvious.

Sony KP-53xbr45 problem

on your model which is a RA-1 chassis the power light blinking steady just means the standby voltages are operating, so you will need to trouble shoot the power supply. you will either need the service manual or training manual to trck down the faulty component.
