I have a problem with my Samsung Syncmaster 940BW. First, when I turn on my computer, the screen is so dark and keeps on blinking. Slowly, the blinking stops and the screen brightness comes back to normal. Sometimes it takes more than an hour.
Recently, we moved to a new house so I had to unplug all the cords and cables. But when I installed everything again another problem occured. When I turn on my computer, 9 times out of 10 it flashes between analog and digital then it goes into power standy mode. I have the analog and digital cables connected, and my PC is equipped with a video card.
I tried to hook my 940BW to an older CPU (which doesn't have a video card) using the analog cable. But then again, the first problem occurred--the screen keeped on blinking and lasted for an hour or more.

Hi there, You can try to disconnect VGA cable to see will the notification "no VGA signal" appear on screen. If so the problem could be with PC graphics, else it is power board problem bad caps. Thanks
