Question about Coby MP-C883 MP3 Player
Ok so I got this mp3 player from a friend, and i have been able to download songs onto it from a friends computer, that was a windows xp....then i get home and try to connect it to my computer, which is also an xp, but it will not register. This is really getting annoying, because i can no longer use my friends computer, and cant get anymore songs onto my mp3 player. I have tried to find solutions and have called the coby assistance line, but they were no help. Is there something i can download to make it register or am i screwed?
This is a flash device and it comes with a USB extension cable, try not using the extension cable and plugging the unit directly into one of the REAR usb ports on your computer. This should make the device show up as a 'Removable Disk' drive under 'My Computer'.
