My lg shine keeps losing signal during a call. i have to remove battery and restart to get signal back and it only last for a couple of minutes before i have to repeat with restart of phone.

I know that this might sound crazy, but i had the same problem and found that if you hold your phone upside down it increases the signal. Also, take out your si and reset your phone if that doesnt work.

That actually makes sense. Mine has been running fine at low power and restarts after really cranking it after a couple of minutes. I will probably go ahead and run a line to the battery as well. Thanks for commenting back, I appreciate it!
Hi All you need to do is to put off your phone,remove the battery and sim card then loose the phone with a phone screw driver,insert a plastic tool to seperate the screen from the motherboard,remove the old screen,be careful not to scratch or smudge the new screen.
Then place the replacement screen back into the motherboard,then fix the front cover and couple back the phone.
hello.. remove the battery for two minutes and then reinstall it. this will reset the phone. now try charging it. If it still won't charge take it back to the phone store as either the battery or the charger is faulty.
turn the phone on remove the battery cover and remove the battery while the device is still powered on then proceed to remove the sim card and clean the contact surface well with a dust free cloth replace sim card battery and cover. if problem persists contact customer care

Please, Remove battery from unit for a few minutes. make sure contacts are clean. use pencil eraser if they are not or just to be sure. Reinsert into phone and try charging again.
We have a family plan with AT&T and we each have different phones: a Blackberry Pearl, an LG KE770 Shine, a RAZR and a Pantech. All the phones get strong AT&T signals at home except the LG Shine which shows no signal at all. This is true also when we go to different parts of town...all the phones get strong signals except the LG may or may not have a signal. We took it to a service center and they gave us a new SIM card but the problem remains. What could be the problem except the possibility that the LG Shine really sucks?
