Possible that PC is hanging up as there isfault on the OS (operating system) or a virus in the OS. Also it is possiblethat the backup battery (CMOS) has low voltage or the memory card is a suspect. In this case you need to check the voltage and also try and swap a memory card.Sometimes the memory card connections can be faulty either on the card or onthe slot. Cleaning the slot and card must be done before you try a replacement. If the PC boots and fails then the hard disc can have bad sectors or iscorrupt. However if there is no result the motherboard also can be suspected. In this case you might need the help of proper tools and equipment support todo a chip level service. It is best to go for a paid antivirussoftware which you can get in a package. Personally we are not recommending anyparticular company but you can try with Avira, Antivir, AVG, Kaspersky. It isalways best to install the antivirus when the installation of the OS isdone. Now before this you can open the internetoptions in the browser and clean all the cookies, temporary internet files, defragment the drives and RESTORE the PC to an earlier set date.

My computer screen. Comes on a few seconds an then the screen goes blank but the power green light is still on

If the PC boots up then open the internet options in the browser and clean all the cookies, temporary internet files, defragment the drives and RESTORE the PC to an earlier set date.

You can use a registry cleaner like Advanced system care. Download from the site and check you system for corrupt files. Also use a good antivirus software which is active to keep your system performing without an attack on the OS. Remove all unnecessary programs installed which you do not use all the time and clean up the drives. This will free up the space and make your system faster.
If there is no response but the PC tends to work slower and occasionally hanging when a program is being executed then you might have to install the OS once again. Install the OS and then an antivirus before the drivers of the PC is installed.

IE is corrupted. The only way to reliably fix that is to stop using it and replace it with a safer and most robust browser.
Install Opera

When I go to download adobe or anything the computer shuts out of internet explorer, then when you click on the internet it says restore session. What is wrong with the computer?

There's nothing wrong with the computer. But I'm suspecting that you have a corrupted Internet Explorer. Try to optimize the browser by deleting the Cookies and Temporary Internet File. Please follow the steps below:

1. Run Internet Explorer
2. Click on Tools > Internet Options...
3. Click the Delete button under the Browsing History.
4. Select Cookies, Temporary Internet files
5. Close and re-open the Internet Explorer

If same problem occured, try using Mozilla Firefox. If the issue would be resolved in using Firefox, then the Internet Explorer is corrupted and needs to be updated.

Have a great day!

I cannot use the mouse to return to Home page..virus?

1. check if it works when you click on another clickable area on your web browser
2. test with other mouse, it it works it's a faulty mouse. change mouse
3. test with other browser. if it works it's a corrupted browser installation, reinstall/switch web browser
4. if you suspect you have a virus, scan your computer for virus and spyware (suggestions: AV software: avg 7.5, malware in general: spybot search and destroy, a-squared, adawareSE) and retest.
