Question about GPS
I have been using the Golflogix GPS unit for 3 months and recently it started locking up when I'm on the course. When I turn the unit on, I am not able to push any buttons to wake up the unit. I have remove the batteries to turn the unit off. I then have to download the courses again and I can usually get through one round without it locking up.
Any advice? A friend of mine bought the same unit when I did, and his unit has done this once,
I have had nothing but problems with my GOLFLOGIX. Garbage!!! It locks up and I also have downloading issues with Vista and Windows 7. It would get 40-60% through the download and crash dump my computer. I have a 2009 Dell Studio 1737 with 320GB and 4 GB. I know its not my system. I have talked to support and they can't help me either. Its junk!! Through the junk in the trash!!

I have same problem and received the following reply from Golflogix:
We have recently released the Windows Vista, and Windows XP software update to solve this issue. It is a process where our technicians will have to manually place the software update on your computer. We would be more then happy to go through the process of setting up the software on your PC.
To reach us to install the software update please call 1-877-977-0162. We are open Monday – Friday 7AM – 6PM Pacific Standard Time. When you call it is important that you are by the computer with your GPS unit and connecting USB cable.
If you are a MAC user please contact our customer service department for further information.

Have the solution.
In the last month Golflogix has completed thier plan to address this issue:
Call them, a technician will take over your PC and install the fix...takes like 3 minutes, painless. Have your unit connected to the PC when you call.
They have promised to load fix on their website or as part of a general software upgrade.
