Try 192.168.1.1. If that doesn't work then try connecting to the router hard wired using IE as your browser. Sometimes with some routers they can only be connected via an RJ 45 cable. Some routers like Linksys only like IE as the browser for accessing the router settings.
If you continue to have problems then reset your router. There is a tiny button recessed on the router back. Using a pen point hol the button in for 30 seconds and then try accessing the router.
Good luck.

I have lost my wep key

Hi. I would suggest resetting the router to factory settings and setting up your wireless network again. There is usually a reset button on the back. Once the remote is reset, run "ipconfig" in the command prompt of your computer to find out the router's IP address. It's usually 192.168.0.1. Type the IP address into the address bar of your web browser to access the router's network setup wizard.

Hope this helps.

I need to password my DI -624 router

If you mean that you need to password the wireless signal, this requires that you first enter your routers IP address in a web browser much as you would enter a websites address (ex google.com) except in the case of routers it will be a series of numbers. If you do not know your routers address there is a simple way to find it. On your computer click the start menu, then at the bottom of it there should be a search bar, type 'cmd' into the search bar (without the parenthesis) and you will see a black box known as a dos window pop up, in that box type 'ipconfig' you will see a whole bunch of stuff come up but the only thing you're looking for is whats known as your default gateway, usually a number starting with something like '192.168 etc or 10.0 etc) This is the number you will need to type into your web browser to bring up your routers configuration screen. the first thing you're likely to encounter when you do this is a prompt for a user name and password, this is a seperate log in from the one you want to add to your wireless. This login has a default user name and password when the router is purchased, you can find the default login in your routers manual, if you no longer have the manual you can go to d-link's website and download a PDF copy of the manual to get the default login. Once you have gotten past this, the next thing to look for is a security section of the router configuration, unfortunately every model of router is different even from the same manufacturer so I can't give you exact directions but it is pretty straight forward, you simply have to pick a type of encryption and security type, usually from pull down menus. Something like security type : WPA2-Personal , encryption type: AES will give you the best security. Then its just a matter of picking a password (also known as a network security key ) , saving your settings and you're done. You will now be required to enter this password on any device that wants to connect wirelessly to your network.
hope this was helpful

I forgot the link to set up my password for my wifi smart bro

Most routers are set up to use IP address of .1 for the administrative page. To determine the network subnet, and then the IP address of your router, do the following:

1. Open up a command box by going to Start, Run... and enter cmd into the box and press the Enter key.
2. Type ipconfig into the commend box and press the Enter key.
3. Look for an entry that says Default Gateway. It will look something like this:

Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.1

This is the address of your router.
4. Go yo your web browser and then type in the address of your default gateway, making sure to put "http://" in front of it, in the address bar and press the Enter key. So, in our example, you would enter "http://192.168.1.1" into your address bar.
5. Done! You should be at your routers website.

I lost my belkin wireless router installer cd how can i install my router without the cd

The CD does not actually "install" the router. It sets it up for you to connect to your ISP, and set up your network. But if you have an ethernet cable you should be able to connect to the router and manually set it up. Usually the address for the router is 192.168.2.1 or 192.168.1.1. Type this into your web browser address bar.You will need several addresses that you can get from your ISP provider. They are as follows:
WAN IP; Subnet mask; Gateway IP; DNS address; and secondary DNS address. If this is too technical for you I see two options. Go to a friends house and download the manual from your router manufacturers web site or get the contact number from their website and give their technical support a call. They should be able to walk you through the setup. But they will also need the addresses I mentioned above. Good luck

I need to password protect my belkin wireless router

How to secure the wireless network

You want to secure the wireless network.
Is there any computer connected to the router with the Ethernet cable?
If not then you will need to connect the computer to the router with the cable.
Check the IP address on the computer. Open the router set up page.
Once you open the set up page, you will find the option to make it secured

I forgot my custom ip address of us robotics so now how i can connect to it

The default address for that make and model is: http://192.168.2.1
If you changed the default address, you can perform a factory restore to reset the router.
To restore the factory default settings is to press in and hold the RESET button on the Wireless MAXg Router for between five and ten seconds.
You will lose all of your personal settings if you restore the factory default settings.

Hellp me

i assume that you are accessing the web page by typing http://192.168.0.1 on the address bar of your internet browser(default username is "admin" and leave the password blank ". if so,

-check if the computer's ip address is on the same segment as of the router's ip address (go to command prompt and type ipconfig or right click on your local area network and click on properties to check the ip)
-if the the computer is getting a valid ip address, try to ping the router's ip address and check if it'll provide you replies. if so, try to disable any firewall or any antivirus enabled on the computer
-if the computer is not getting a valid ip address, make sure that the computer is set to dhcp instead of static ip. check if there's a light on the port where you connected your computer. if there's no light on the router, use another port or use another known working ethernet cable
-if this router is just for inital setup, try to reset it and try again
-you can also try to use another computer or another web browser to isolate the problem

hope this'll help you.

ciao!
