Having a different phone number has nothing to do with your not being able to log into your account. Are you sure you are using the correct password and your user ID are all correct.
Your Paypal account could have been "hacked" by a low life and your password has been changed. look up Paypal's contact phone number by going to their login page aand look for a tab named contact us. You will need to be ready to provide answers to your security questions and if you have forgotten them....you may not be able to reset your account password. Paypal is very serious about security and will run lots of questions at you to verify who you really are. good luck. Your phone number can then be edited once you have access to your account and can log in. Regards,

You need to log into your Paypal account and then click on the "wallet" link at the top of the page and then remove your old card and then "add" you new card in the old cards place. Piece of cake to do.

you'll have to login to paypal for that. it sounds like you know the email address, you should request the password from paypal so you can login again.

I don't know if you tried paying again to ebay on different time of the day. If the transaction still cannot get through, your next step is to make sure your card has funds on it or its not blocked at all. Of course 23.05 is a small amount but its part of the process to check your bank or card. If you are still encountering issue after that then try sending to your trusted family members or friends a small amount to their paypal. If it works then there is something wrong between you account and ebay.


Incase you really need to pay that now. Transfer enough amount to your friends then inform them to transfer it again to your paypal account so that you can have enough funds on your paypal then try paying again to ebay. This time since you already had the said amount your card ain't involve anymore. I hope it work for you after that.

it is possible,, go back to the item & check to see what the seller accepts for payment, it will show & also try clearing the cookies on your computer & see if that helps
then try again to pay for it & if it still happens, then contact paypal's customer service here's the number 1-402-935-2050

this is why paypal sucks!!! i had to use a prepaid debt card just in this happen to me and it did. i refused to pay for something that i did not order so they closed my paypal account. there is one with this ebay owns paypal or is it paypal owns ebay, and if there is a sellers that only take paypal then you may never be able to buy anything on ebay again. used to be to search for items that do not use paypal, but that has changed with people bidding on items and not paying for them!
you may also want to to see if there is a "auto-proxy" bidding setting that might be enabled. the fees from ebay and paypal are way too high!! hope this helped!

Login to your paypal and view the purchase history. If the purchase is not listed in the history then it's most likely that the payment hasn't been taken. There must be some fault during the authentication. Pay it again from ebay. anyway, you can always claim paypal for any unwanted payments made.

Your money source may not be fully linked to paypal and in that sense they cant pull money from it to pay for things with pay pal. Follow alll instructions for address and making account primary and try again.
