Why is there no sound in pong the next level pc when i load a level? compatibility won't help me, and admin rights don't help also.

alot of reasons,
some of these games from the 90's were designed to use the computers internal speaker (beeper) alot of newer machines of today do not have these inbuilt speakers consequently no sound

also the game may not be compatible with your sound card or may not be correctly configured for your sound card if you need more clarification or further assistance on this matter feel free to ask me otherwise if this was helpful please mark it as resolved! cheers

NO SOUNDS...

Here is a link to the Windows Xp audio drivers to try for your motherboard/audio:

http://www.opendrivers.com/driver/258452/powerspec-v201-realtek-audio-sound-driver-5.10.0.5288-windows-xp-free-download.html

You need to click the link on this webpage near bottom to go to download. Let me know if this does the trick. It definitely sounds like an XP issue.

What version of windows are you using? if you are running windows XP you may as well give up because blue ray will not play on windows XP.

Even on vista blue ray will often not work correctly do to buggy HDCP coding and incompatability with various sound and video cards.

for full resolution HD playback the PC must have Vista, a blue ray decoder, a video card AND sound card with full HDCP compliance.

Now you know why most people dont bother with blue ray, especially on the PC, its an excercise in frustration.

If you go to the makers web-site for your sound card, you might be able to download the driver there.

Sound Card

that sound card is unlikely to work with xp..those are 2000 machines, and the chipsets aren't that flexible. you may need to change sound card too, to one compatible with xp(like soundblaster).
