How to replace the light bulb in the Maytag french door bottom freezer

Hopefully you have figured this out. Its fairly simple to do. If your freezer if full you will need to empty enough that you can place your hand in and on the Plastic Light cover. Its in the center at the top of the freezer. This cover is removed by simply applying a little pressure to the right and left corner and pulling toward you and down. The light cover with very little pressure should mover and pull down. Once it begins to lower in the back just keep a hold of it and mover your hand toward the rear of the freezer and the front tabs will slide out.
After changing the light bulb, simply put the front two tabs of the front of the cover in first and snap back into place by pushing up. Takes about 3 minutes to change the light bulb. Good Luck!

My Maytag dryer makes an awful screeching sound when I start the dryer. It still dries the clothes, but I can't stand the noise.

your rollers or belt idler is corroded. you need to take dryer appart and lubricate the parts in question with MINERAL OIL or SPECIAL BEARING LUBRICANT. """"DO NOT USE WD-40 OR 3 IN ONE OILS"""". good luck to you.

MTB2656G Top Freezer Refrigerator: Water is leaking and pooling below crispers in ref...

Clean the drain pan and drain line in the back of the freezer section underneath the evaporator coil. Make sure water drains when you pour it in. If it doesn't - also clean drain tube on the back of the unit behind the cover. When done - make sure to put the tube exactly where it was.
Good luck! :)

I Have a maytag Electric Dryer the dryer is

it could be your drum glides in the front of the drum or the rear center bearing or rear rollers, or the belt idler pulley or motor end bearings going bad,you will need to remove the front cover by removing lower kick panel screws near the floor and lifting upward on front cover, then remove top cover screws located under top cover and lift up and secure so as not to break wires to control panel, then rotate drum by hand and listen for noise location

My dryer is making a high pitched squeal?

it could be the rear drum bearing, the front drum glides/rollers or the drum belt is glazed,or the tensioner for the belt needs replacement, all of which require you to remove the front cover by removing the lower front panel screws near the floor, then lift up front cover like a car hood and there are spring clips that will let go, then remove top cover these screws are underneath top cover in front and you can replace those items

If the fan is working, but there is no heat from rear element, then the element needs replacing.
Remove inner rear cover of oven, you will see the element there, remove, and replace.
Please leave a rating for my suggested solution.
Thanks.

Two year old Maytag Fridge not cooling

pull the power plug for 15 minutes, then plug back in...same problem? tried adjusting temperature control knob (thermostat)? if yes to both questions, freon has escaped out of loop or faulty thermostat. Attempt force start of compressor with jumper clips: pull the power plug then find the two wires into motor and apply 120 VAC from jumper clips. If it spins, then faulty thermostat.
