Question about Computers & Internet
I've problems with my Packard Bell 6301N keyboard.
Every third time, it doesnt start as if it wasnt plugged properly or identified by the computer.
Restarting the computer often solves the problem but it is quite tedious.
I dont think it comes from the driver as the one which is currently installed is a standard keyboard one (Microsoft Natural Keyboard P/S2) and as I havent found any (other) specific driver available on the web.
NB: I got the keyboard with a (French) iMedia 6430 machine.
Thank you for your help,

HAVE YOU TRIED ANOTHER KEYBOARD? TRY YOUR ON SCREEN KEYBOARD UNDER "ALL PROGRAMS" "ACESSORIES" THEN "ACCESABILITY" CLICK ON "ON-SCREEN KEYBOARD. IF THE ON-SCREEN KEY BOARD WORKS YOUR KEYBOARD IS BAD.

The first thing to do is my computer properties see if your keyboard and mouse are showing in there
If they are you need to update the drivers.
If they are not showing then I would suggest going to control panel and add new hardware installing that way
Try using a standard mouse instead of usb
If you cannot get on try restarting in safemode to correct your problem.
Or if you have a cd that came with the mouse and keyboard reinstall it.
Let me know if this helped also did you reinstall the same version of windows

The reason these beeps are happening is because there might be a key that is slightly depressed enough to where its registering keystrokes. Move your fingers all over the keyboard and see if you the beeps stop after you do that. If it still is going on then that means your keyboard is bad and will need to be replaced.
