    Thank you for the information!

You are correct, the tint on my projector was not a lamp issue but a connectivity issue. I swapped the cables with good known cables and the tint went away. The projector give off true colors, now. Thank you!

When you have a tint on the projector its not a lamp issue, it is a connectivity issue you have to check the cables if they are connected firmly, or swap the cables with good known cables , if this doesn't help you have to send the projector to infocus repair center, since it is a DLP projector this may require engine /major repair

when you try the menu, does the pink still stay there. what happens if you try a video source with a dvd connected.
ie is this only a PC to projector pink issue.

InFocus LP70 projector is running hot

clean the dust out of it with canned air. the dust keeps in the heat that the projector is trying to expell. it also shortens the life of the lamp.

LP70 lamp will cycle on and off in 3 min. intervals.

go into the menu and check the lamp hours. if it's over 2000, you need to replace the lamp. if it isn't, the power supply and/or ballast is starting to fail.

Why does picture brightness change up and down on LP70.

Hi there

Sounds like the lamp is going , but it could be the Ballast as well ( lamp's powersupply ) Rather have a certified technician look at.

Infocus LP70 - It's all Green

A tinted image (whether green or another color) is almost always a symptom of a bad or damaged cable - or a loos cable connection. In your case, you'll likely need a new M1 to VGA cable (Part# SP-DVI-A-R).

Assuming that you've made sure that the cable connections are solid at both ends, there is a simple test to verify that this is a cable issue and not a costly projector issue. While the image is tinted green, open the menu. If the menu colors appear fine while the rest of the image is still tinted green it's the cable.

When the image turns pink, we find that replacing the cable between the projector and the lap top fixes the problem.
