Question about HP Office Equipment & Supplies
It is very possible the black print head is clogged with dried ink.
Begin saving money for a new printer.
Clean the print heads manually:
Remove the cartridges.
There will be small extrusions where you removed the cartridges. They are the print heads. These need to be wiped down with cotton swabs dipped in rubbing alcohol. Keep this up until you can see the miniscule holes in the top of them. THE CRUCIAL STEP: Take something thin enough to fit in the holes and push it all the way through. This will clean out the dried ink and you should be able to print now.
