If it is a Nokia, try deleting files from Phone's memory (not from the Memory Card).
Nokia has a (should I say) a nasty habit of popping pretty annoying messages about space. Default settings for the Camera and Bluetooth allow the things to be stored in the Phone's Memory instead of Memory Card which causes this problem. Check the memory status of your phone if Phone's Memory is about full, there is your problem just delete everything you find useless.
If you are not using a Nokia try the same and if it still doesn't work please specify the Brand and Model of your phone. :)
Your camera is talking about its internal memory. If you want the card to start working, you must get rid of the pics on the internal memory. With no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format" and follow the on-screen instructions.
You have to delete the pictures in the memory using the camera's function to do this. If you have a memory card in the camera, you might not be able to see the pics in the internal memory, so take it out first, then review the pics in the camera and delete as many as you can (not the ones you want to keep, obviously). When you put the memory card back in, the camera should save pics to that instead of internal memory, but if the internal memory is completely full, it can't work properly. It needs some elbow room.
When the memory card is in the camera, you see the card contents, not the internal memory. Take the card out, then delete all the photos you can find. The camera needs space on the internal memory to work, even if the memory card is empty.
1 Press the Menu button.
2 Press to highlight Setup Menu , then press the OK button.
3 Highlight Format , then press the OK button.
4.Highlight an option, then press the OK
MEMORY CARD-deletes everything on the card; formats the card.
CANCEL-exits without making a change.
INTERNAL MEMORY-deletes everything in internal memory including email addresses and album names; formats the internal memory.
5.Highlight Continue Format, then press the OK button.
(When the formatting is complete, the Setup menu appears)
Your internal memory is separate from your memory card. Think of it as two folders, the internal memory cannot be removed, and the memory card is one you can take with you. You can put new memory cards in it all day, the internal memory will still have pictures in it. You may wish to consider copying all internal memory to the memory card. To do this, make sure your camera has a memory card in it. View pictures on your internal memory, then from the menu option select 'copy all images to external memory.' In doing this, all of your photos will be moved, you can then clean out your internal memory by deleting everything/formatting it. :)
