Got into your BIOS and set it to the default settings. F2 should get you into the BIOS once you turn on your laptop. In the BIOS there will be a setting that says Reset defaults. Choose that option and once you choose it then press F10 to save and exit.
If that doesn't work then that means the motherboard is bad. Try several usb devices to make sure. I'm sure thats what Acer did before was they replaced the motherboard since it was under warranty.
