My magic chef microwave model MCO160UB has stopped heating the food clock, timer, light & fan work but apparently no microwaves. HELP

If the microwave is not heating check magnetron connections, probably you will need to replace the magnetron.

If you could get it to reset by unplugging it I would suspect a problem with the main timer board. A blown fuse or bad connection wont reset by unplugging it. You would need to find a parts dealer who carris Magic Chef parts and give them your model number and ask for price and availability on the main PCB the printed circuit board

If the microwave is above the stove, the heat sensors in the microwave
may turn on fans to cool it even though the microwave itself is not
running. It tries to save its life. It should turn off when the stove is not
heating it.

the light won't come on how can i get the light bulb out?

Tin foil or steel plates in a microwave will burn it out. I suspect it is or has burnt out. Never put anything steel in a microwave.

You can still use it, but must be aware that this is a relatively high power microwave, so food will burn if it isn't turned.

I have a Magic Chef model MC0160UQ. Within 2-3 minutes of heating food it shuts off completely for about 5min. Also, when I select the low fan it does not work, however the high fan works. Please assist with these issues if possible. Am I able to fix or adjust the magnetron myself since it may be overheating? or what should i do?????
