I have a Toshiba Gigabeat F40 MP3 player that turns on, but sticks at the timezone screen. It seems as if it's stuck in Hold mode, but the hold button is not turned on. The only way to turn the unit off is to turn off the battery button on the bottom of the unit. When it started having problems, the unit would scroll quickly through the selections, but would not stop or let me make a selection. I am thinking the control buttons are not working. Is there a way to open this unit and check them. I could also reset the unit if there is a way to do that!?!?
Thanks for any advice you can offer, Cindy I have the same problem I have only used my Gigabeat maybe 25 times and I only have abot 100 songs on it so it has been usev very little
