The first thing that comes to mind, is have you emptied the water collection bucket recently? If so, be sure that the bucket was properly reinstalled and is making contact with the bucket safety removal switch.
If you haven't emptied the bucket in the past few days, it may simply be full and will not start until it's emptied.
Hope this helped you and thanks for choosing FixYa.
Two things generally cause this problem. If your unit has a Float Valve inside the bucket, it's stuck in the 'Up' position, which under normal conditions, indicates to the unit, that the bucket is FULL. If you don't have that, then when the bucket was last inserted into the bucket holder, it did not trip the bucket removal safety switch. Remove the bucket and reinstall it, making sure that it fits squarely into the hole from top to bottom. Leave the unit ON when you do this, because if you do it correctly, the unit will automatically start and run. Also, be sure that humidity extraction level is set on 32 - 35 %.
Hope this helped you to troubleshoot and solve the problem. Please let me know. Thanks.
Wayne, the condensation collection bucket may not be seated properly in the unit. Therefor, it does not make proper contact with the safety switch. Try reinstalling the bucket while the unit is ON.This will give you an indication if the safety switch is being triggered. The over all problem is in the safety switch. Also, make sure the unit is sitting level.
Hope this helped you solve the problem. Please be kind enough to take a moment and rate my response. Thanks!
