Question about Ricoh Aficio 2022 All-In-One Laser Printer
Our Ricoh 2022 seems to have issues saving documents on the document server. I will load two documents and within 5-7 days, it just erases. The odd thing is that after this time period, when I hit the Document Server button, I see the documents there for a brief moment before they disappear before my eyes. It must save them somewhere because everytime I re-scan and load the documents, it shows that there are previous copies (I'm up to 40 now). It's getting rather annoying having to constantly reload these.
Any ideas as to what's wrong?
The 2022 has a very limited area for storing document in the copier. It has several bugs in it as well if you put them into PDF multi page mode. The best way to store them is to use an ftp server or scan to email. SMP server will work as well.
That way the Documents can be kept off the copier and stored into an area that is easier to organize the data with.
Document server wasn't designed to be a document server for long storage use.
