My TV a older JVC won't turn on and the on timer light is flashing. I have had this set for many years I have never had this issue

Hello,
This type of fault is associated with the power panel board, you have to open the back cover of the television to check where the fault is,also take caution because it contain high voltages,the power supply board is dead, u know basic electronics' and soldering? Most of the times, the power supply board just have dead leakages gases capacitors.These capacitors always bulges up on it top,or puff up on it top.Replaced these gases leakages capacitors will get your TV power stable,and work again.Or tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

Power timer light flashing, won't come on

Flashing of power LED are fault indications. You have to count the number of flashes occurs at one time. Check this link for more details about the blinking codes. Do a search by entering the brand name to your device by its search box at top right of the display window, because, posts are not arranged in alphabetical order, but by brand name first.

I have a JVC AV 32432 and the on timer light is flashing and tv won't turn on.

Flashing of timer is fault indications. Check this site for more details. It has more than 1400 posts to different brands of electronic entertainment and other equipments. All posts referrers with the repair and fault finding to electronic entertainment equipments. It will be best to view it either in Flipcard or Timeslide option, can be selected by the sidebar tag at the top left of the display screen. Timeslide view will be the best to select. If you are using Google Chrome as browser, Flipcard option will be the best.

TV power red light is blinking and no sound or picture

Model number if not the one listed here will be on label on rear of set along with month and year the set was made--

How skilled are you with working on (I presume it is a older direct view with a picture tube) sets?

A lot of the older JVC sets had a common issue---there is a single filter cap (it will look ok) that fails----Tell me model and If you are able I will try to direct you to it.

Green timer light won't stop flashing on mitsubishi ws 73711.

the green light blinking is normal if set has been unplugged--when set is plugged back it should blink for about 70 seconds and then go out--then you can try to turn it on---it is the DM unit inside the set booting up.

If the light just blinks and never stops you have likely bad caps in the DM unit---there are kits available for that.

The other possible reason is that so called reset switch may be bad--fairly easy way to find that out and it is more common than you would think, let me know if you have questions.

sometimes a leaky filter capacitor in the power supply primary section could caused this problem,or a loose solder connection in the power supply section

My JVC AV-32FA44 wont turn on. the on timer light blinks. When i unplug it and plug it back in i get beeping (i stoped counting at 50 beeps) then it stops and the light just blinks.
