The same thing happened to me a couple of years ago.. turns out for the first time in 30 years of running yard equipment I was finding water in my gas. not sure if it was a prank or the tanks at local gas station needed to be replaced. either way when i took the gas from the gas can and placed in a glass jar there was one third of water which was easy to remove and from that point forward I havent had a problem. we also removed the people that we put up and chalked it up to experience. no more free loaders living in the house
There are a few things to look at.First and easiest is check the primer bulb and fuel line for any cracks, and the in line fuel filter.Next is a filter on the end of the fuel line, inside the tank.If all of that is ok there is a small screen in the carb. you will have to tear down the carb to get it.
