I have a Kia Carnival 2005 KVII. I had to contact Kia to get the radio code and give the vin number. Note # you will only get 3 attempts.
My Kia has a Mobis HM3700 and the Code I was given is 1812.

To insert code:
1 look at the front of the Radio you will see a screen, and at the bottom of the Right hand side is a set of channel select buttons.

they look like this
1 2 3
4 5 6

Each button from button number 1 to number 4 will cycle through from 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, to 0 each time you press these buttons you will change the number on the screen.

When you have the numbers shown below

Button numbers 1 2 3 4
Numbers showing 1 8 1 2

Than press Number 5 button to accept

Try cleaning the CD player with a cleaning disc, that is the best way to troubleshoot this at a less costly price tag.

go to the link and pay for the code or try and look on manufacture lables in glove blox and other places to see if you find the radio code . sometime you can call you  kia dealer they can get it for you.

 

There could be another cd stuck in your player. you can try to straighten it out with a credit card and press eject. The Cd may have angled itself upwards or downwards and is jammed inside. Or possible a child stuck a coin inside the cd slot and jammed the moving parts.

How do i set the timing in a kia carnival

The plastic trim all round the radio and heater controls should just unclip, then the raio will be held in with 4 screws.
