Creative Zen Firmware Problem

It suddenly happened. I have my Creative Zen just one year and a half and last time that I tried to turn it on it just did not. I did not smashed it or soaked or anything.

I reset it. Cleaned it up, Formated all, and the same message is coming........ Firmware Problem!!!!

I have tried it all. I downloaded the Creative Zen Firmware 1.03.04 as the Creative site suggests, but my laptop just dont detect the device at all.

Any suggestions?????

There's an updated firmware download: Firmware 1.32.01. Try downloading that.

Tried this?

Start in recovery mode after reset (hold down play)
Select reload firmware.
Download the latest firmware from support.creative.com.
Plug the player into the computer, and reinstall firmware.

I went to the shop and my sister changed the usb port because my Zen suggested it for a faster rate of charging then it went to recovery mode, and ever since I have been trying to fix it but it just says firmware problem, how do I fix it? I even resetted it.

Exact same problem .. what a heap of junk .. I have had it replace 3 times now and all 3 models have broken of various issues .. utterly useless piece of junk ,,

Yuck The CREATIVE ZEN!!!!!!!!!!!
Even after connecting to PC and resetting again and again even when connected it still give firmware problem error. The player itself is not getting detected how the application will upgrade the firmware in player...
