Open following link for Hagar timers:

Hagar EH711 has segments located around the analog dial.
The dial rotates as time passes and the segments move tiny lever that turns Loan on-off.
The segments are pushed down and outward or up and inward to set on-off times.
The timer can be wired a couple different ways, so setting the segments up or down depends on how it was wired.
If you look at dial on your timer and see how segments are set now, that will give you the correct information.
If segments are down between 7:30am and 7:30 pm, then move those segments up-and-inward.

To check the timer after moving your segments, you can manually rotate dial clockwise and watch the load turn on-off. To set current time, rotate dial until current time lines up with arrowhead located on inner dial.
The slide switch has 3 positions. 0 = ON all the time; 1 = OFF all the time, and Auto = timer turns on-off depending how segments are set.

Hager ES220 cant get the timer to work how do i set it i do not have any guidelines where can i get the information from ?

I am not familiar with that specific model number, but Hagar timers have more than one number since sellers apply their own numbers so their product appears unique.
I suggest contact Hagar:

How do I set my Hager timer EH711 to on at 7pm and off at 7am

Resourceful do-it-yourselfer will find following information helpful for solving problem.
Max Load 1000Watts incandescent
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-program-Hagar-timer.html#700-series
Manual uses several languages including English
http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/Hager-EH711-Timer.pdf

Hagar 700 series analog timer has mechanical dial that rotates as time passes.
Segments located on outer edge of dial are moved down-and-out, or up-and-inward to set on-off times.
As dial rotates, segments move lever that turns Load on-off.

With segment timers, all consecutive segments between on and off times have to be pushed in place.
Since EH700 series timer has NO NC terminals, segment position is determined by how timer was wired.
This is because segments-in and segments-out turn different terminals ON.

As a result, the best way to set this timer is to push 10 consecutive segments down-and-out.
Leave rest of segments up-and-inward.
Then manually rotate timer dial to watch when Load turns on-off.

Hagar analog timers also have a switch located in bottom right.
This is the manual override switch.
Set switch in position "I" and then rotate timer dial to watch when Load turns of-off.
Set switch in position "O" and then rotate timer dial again to watch when Load turns of-off.

Manually rotating dial and experimenting with segments and switch will tell resourceful do-it-yourselfer exactly how to set timer.
Once segments and switch are set, then rotate timer hands until current time shows on analog dial face.

I need to know how to set the "Sentry" time that came with the house I've bought. Thanks. James

1) It sounds like you have the EJ351.
Intermatic EJ351 is sometimes sold as Sentry

2) Open following link for the manual:
https://www.gpspool.com/customer/geposp/additionalinfo/OWNER%20MANUALS/Intermatic/IO%20-INT-%20EJ351-EJ353%20Wall%20Switch%20Timer%20Installation.pdf

3) Add a comment if this is not your timer, and say more detail about the timer.
I have extensive files on timers and might be able to find same-similar product.

Good Morning. The downstairs lights are not working.I checked the fuse box[Hager]and the fuse swich was off for the lights,i flicked this back on thinking lights would come back on [apart from supposed...

I assume you mean circuit breaker when you say fuse. If you reset the breaker to "on" and the lights still don't work, look for a GFI outlet somewhere in the circuit. It could be tripped which will shut off the current downstream from it if it is set up to guard the downstream circuit.

When the hager fuse trips does it need some time before it can be reset

No,it will only not reset if there is a fault.Try disconnecting the circuit from the breaker and if it resets you have a fault.

Cleaned oven now door will not unlock

Turn off the breaker for a few minites, turn back on,check it. If still locked use a wire hager and flashlight to push the lever of the lock to the open position. You'll need to replace the door locking mechinisum about 30.00.
