This seems to be a rights issue with starting aspnet_wp.exe which is part of the .Net framework. Google "error 80070718" to see some information on this error.

Make sure you are an administrator when you try to install software.

    Google Chrome error 0xc00000ac

This error usually occurs when there is a trojan or virus or malware infection on your computer. This error code in particular refers to mis-configured system files and a corrupt registry. Scan your computer for viruses and malware, etc. then go to Windows update and install all updates you may need. If you still have your Windows disc or the disc that came with your pc you could use it to repair your operating system files and registry. If you had a recent install of a program or uninstall, you could your system restore to revert your pc back to before you started getting this message. Without knowing what exactly occurred right before this error message popped up it's hard to give proper help.

You can try this: start run then type in services.msc after that go down to windows update right click it and click stop. Then right click it and click start. After you do this try to reinstall the updates. If this doesn't work just give me the complete error message when installing the updates.

I have Windows Vista Home Basic and have not been able to install windows critical updates for months. I have error messages popping up regularly. How can I fix this?

I would suggest backing up your data, and try reloading, also make sure you have a good internet connection, trying to suggest how to fix this kind of issue requires knowing the exact error code, neede to know things like do you have a connection, are you able to surf the web, do you have a firewall that may be blocking updates.
