If it wont charge,then its the DSI.not the charger.and the DSI batteries are very exepensive.its almost impossibe to get one but i bet you can get one from ebay.

Hi,
Check if the problem is the AC Adapter/ Charger use a known good Charger if it will work if not then it is possible the main board of your Nintendo DSi is faulty and may need servicing or possible a replacement.
Unfortunately the only way to charge the DSi is with the charging port. You can get different chargers if you lost yours, but if there is another problem, like the port broken, there really isnt a way. Hope I could help ;) thanks
If the orange light is blinking, it either means the battery is bad or installed incorrectly. Here is a link to check the installation of the battery..
