There needs to be a usb connection between the screen and the PC. Also there may need to be a driver installed on your computer. All this information should be on the CD that came with the screen or on the manufacturers website.

The screen shows image for like 3 seconds then goes black but the screen is still on

-you can check the cables on the monitor have it disconnected and reconnected
-if it still does it try another monitor cable
-one way you can check is to use a flash light by shining it on the screen and look closely to see if you can see any images .
-try touching the menu screen on remote to see if you can see image, if you can then the lcd screen is bad and would need to be replaced. the same would be if you cant see any image =

Black display screen

1. disconnect all cables from the monitor except the power cable and turn it on if you see any test screen
the monitor is good if you see any thing .

2. then see if the cables are tightly fixed at both the ends i.e the monitor end and the computer end .
3. see if you can get some other monitor to test may be from a friend or a neighbour . the problem can be with the
computer also and very rearly sometimes with the cable
