Nothing to do with the remote! - It's either the main PCB or the power board depending on exact version of model - how old is it?
Mine is doing the same it's just over 2yrs old.
I would contact your local samsung authorised repairers and get samsung to pay for the replacement part as I will be doing tomorrow.

Okay, so my Panasonic PT-43LC14 went black in mid show last night. The bulb is approximately 18 months old. The LED indicators upon Power On are; Power LED blinks green for approximately 70 seconds; Then...

Check the bulb again and look at the root of where the main stem comes out inside and be sure you don't see any bubble like appearence around the stem at the bottom there. If you do see this then the bulb is bad. Otherwise try this: Hold volume down on front of unit and pip on remote for about 5 seconds. Message will come on screen that timer has been reset to zero. This sets the lamp timer to 0

My tv won't turn on it clicks on then a second or

When it shuts down do any lights on the front light up red? If so its in prtective shutdown and you can get a two digit blink code by pressing in the menu and device buttons on the front panel. then counting the number of blink. It should blink a series of blinks and pause for the first digit then blink another series and pause for the second digit . then the process repeats. If a code blinks let me know what they were.

Samsung DLP HL-P5063W. . .no lamp!

You will need to have it diagnosed if you do not have the service manual, or the knowledge of how these circuits work. I can tell you to replace this or that but it would be a guess! You need to start measuring the voltages on the ballast circuit, as I have seen door switches, fan sensors, heat sensors cause all of your symptoms as well. Good Luck
