I got my wife a mouse and key board a little wile ago' and she just now tryed to use it. the key board works but the mouse dase'nt how do i get it to work

If its a wire less type check if there are batteries inserted and if the red LED lights up. If they do just click the left button to make it active. Even if you do not use it for more than 5 minutes the mouse goes into power saving mode, just left click to wake it up.

The microsoft wireless mouse stopped working after a power failure. I get a message that says the USB device is not there. But I cannot navigate my computer w/o the mouse

The Microsoft wireless mouse comes with a wireless receiver, right? Before you do anything, the first thing that you can try is to replace the batteries with fresh ones.

If same problem occur, try to connect the wireless receiver into different USB ports of the computer. Then check if your wireless receiver and mouse has a connect button. If it does have connect buttons, briefly press the connect button on the receiver, then hold down the connect button on the mouse for 5 seconds. Then release the connect buttons.

If you get the same problem, hold down both connect buttons (receiver and mouse) at the same time for 5 seconds.

Last, try to connect the wireless receiver into different computer. If you get the same problem, send the receiver and mouse to the manufacturer for repair.

Thank you and good luck!

ET2203t eee mouse and keybaord wont work

Make sure you "synchronize" the wireless
unit(s) with the base unit(plugged into computer)-click buttons on each to sync: first one, then the other-This needs to be done each time batteries are replaced.

Hope this helps.

Asus CS5111 keyboard stopped working

Try taking the batteries out of the mouse and let the receiver find the keyboard first, then once the keyboard is found put batteries back in mouse and let the receiver find the mouse.

My wireless optical mouse is no longer working

You replaced the batteries. Okay. Did you install drivers for the mouse from a CD? Are you using Windows XP? Do you notice any change if you use the mouse on a darker surface as opposed to lighter surface? If the computer installed the drivers for you, then you might want to delete them in Device Manager (might be called something like HID-Compliant Mice. Single click on that entry, press the delete key. You might have to reboot your PC after that. From there you might have to unplug, then plug in the mouse again and you should notice the driver reinstalling. Give it a second and all should be good.

*Access the Device Manager by right-clicking on My Computer, select Properties, go to the Hardware tab and select Device Manager.

MICROSOFT WIRELESS MULTIMEDIA KEYBOARD 1.1 > not working

I was just about to write "I have the same problem", but i think i fixed it!!!!

background: I move my wireless keybd/mouse between my desktop and laptop units.... All was fine until a few days ago when some update completely disabled my desktop... I think the wireless began malfunctioning about the same time.

Just now, I pressed the ?reconnect button? on the front of the keybd/mouse receiver then pressed the connect buttons on the back of each device and PRESTO!! the keybrd works!!!

I just typed this entire message with the wireless keybd.

I hope this helps someone
