I recently bought an HP Pavilion 500-a60 desktop PC. It does not have a sticker showing the windows 8.1 product key; no disc; and no documentation. HP and Microsoft will not give me the product key

There should have been a sticker either on the pc or there should have been a package with a recovery CD inside the box, I am guessing from your question that you have bought this 2nd hand, you cannot get at the key, but if you got this 2nd hand windows should have been installed and working, HP will sell you a copy of the resotre disks

Finding lost application install keys is quick and simple with this handy executable, a complete rewrite of a well-received earlier version. Keyfinder Thing's simple, easy-to-understand interface has Wizard-like efficiency. This application quickly scans your system registry for 90 supported software titles and displays product names and icons in the result window. Single-button clicks copy all keys to either a text or HTML file.

http://download.cnet.com/product-key-finder/3000-2094_4-10694022.html Product Key Finder is a single function utility that executes in a GUI, but displays a Command window result. You merely double-click it to display the 25 character Microsoft Windows Product Key.

then store it away for safe keeping not on your computer

hope this helps

Truble installing cheap train simulator.

It is most likely registering you in their database, so just fill it in, and the serial number is to make sure that you bought the product so on the product you should have the serial number (most likely on the back of the box or on the pamphlet inside)

Installation for an Advent ADE-300NS claims to be easy with no need for driver but upon installation a driver is needed. how do i install the webcam

If you still have the receipt, I suggest you take the product back to where you bought it. After quite a bit of research I can not find any REAL information on the manufacturer of any Advent product. Everything I'm looking at indicates multiple manufacturers for all Advent rebranded products. My best guess for your future happiness with a webcam is to get one that is manufactured by a reputable and known company. These rebranded products are nothing but headaches for the customers and for us researchers. Sorry but that is all I can do.

usually the product key should be somewhere inside the packaging for your os, usually Microsoft puts it where the installer disk is at, but if you bought the computer with vista then the computer should have came with the os disk and product key

I bought a norton internet security 2008 and since then i have not been able to install it.Any time i tried,i will be prompted to put in product no.which i can not find now. Please how do i get this thing...

U can email the symantec website customer support and they can give you your product code. If You are tring to use it on a new vista platform, Norton does not support vista. I had to move over to Sheild Deluxe due to that reason.

I have taken the Product Key from the sticker on my laptop which I bought at the beginning of January 2008. Whenever I try to register my products, I get a message that this is an invalid code. I am...

The code you have typed if for Vista Operating System from Microsoft. If Vista will ask for product key code then this key will be valid. Other than its valid for any one else product.

So, please can you tell me where you try to use this product key?

Thanks
Iqbal
