All riding lawn mowers that I am aware of do NOT use mixed oil/gas. they use only straight gas in the gas tank and they have a separate tank for oilyou need to look online under the manufactures web site under manuals and or service files or call the dealer.

I have a 2009 Yard man 625 mower. I want to know how much gas the tank holds. Bought this used and they didnt tell me mix the gas.

firstly from the photo it looks like it is a four stroke motor in which case you do not mix the fuel with oil
it is a two stroke engine and needs oil mixed in the fuel , it is not done in the fuel tank but in a container ( 5 ltr-1 gallon) before hand
mixing in the tank will create problems from not enough oil to excessive oil as the motor is running
only use 2 stroke oil --not engine oil
of in doubt take it to a mower shop and get advice on what should be done before you start it.

Does the recycler use gas or a gas oil mixture

Your recycler mower is either gas or electric (as you may know). The gas models use straight gasoline. You do not mix oil with the fuel.

Oil change

STOP !

Your lawn mower is has a 4 cycle engine
It does not require oil to be mixed with the gas
The oil for the crankcase should be a 10W-30 or 10W- 40
NO GAS IN THE OIL
What you have is a 2 cycle oil that is mixed with gas for most weed eaters, chain saws, ect
Putting a gas/oil mix in your mower WILL severely damage it destroying the main bearings and could lead to an explosion or fire.
Please be careful

I have a techumseh snow blower 5.5 engine. I need to know what type of fuel it needs. It says on the outside something about a 50:1 oil gas mix and lists some types of oils. Where can I get these oils,...

go to your hardware store and ask for some 2 cycle 50:1 oil, mix that with a gallon of gas and you're good to go. Before you mix, make sure that you read the oil container for it's recommendations! You can purchase a small container of oil that is all measured for 1 gallon of gas

My B&S Yard Machine shoots out white smoke it also leaks out oil and gas mixed

If this is a 4 cycle mower (seperate places for gas and oil) and you are using a oil and gas mix as I am reading from your post that is your problem. When you use a gas&oil mix in a 4 cycle you get smoke and if fouls your spark plug. Also be more specific where the oil and gas mixed is leaking from. I SUGGEST THAT YOU DRAIN OUT THE GAS&OIL MIX AND CLEAN THE SPARK PLUG OR REPLACE AND FILL WITH STRAIGHT GAS AND SEE HOW IT RUNS.

Good luck

you shouldn't need to mix oil with gas on a four cycle engine. this is for two strokes.

Do four cicle engines need oil fuel misture

Hi. no oil is needed except in the oil tank. there is a separate oil fill point that you can use for the crank case oil section. no need to mix with fuel on the 4 cycle motor. Oil and gas are separate in this situation.
