remove the fuser unit and clean the thremister, but 1st turn machine off, upon reinstall of fuser enter service mode p*c* and choose 014 to reset the code, if that doesn't work you may need a new fuser

We have a Sharp copier AR-M205, and it keeps giving us the U2 code and we have tried to reset it and it doesn't work.


u2 code .just check what is the sub code by pessing start key.if sub code is 01 thats counter sum check(memory problem)if 04 eeprom problem if 40 crumic.to reset u2 just do this.press clear ,exposure,clear,exposure,16,print.code will remove .by mian jee

My Sharp AR-336 copier gives two error codes: 1)is F2-37 & 2) is U2-00. The U2-00 I can clear everytime. The F2-37 won't clear for hours. The only things is to leave it unplugged for several hours...


when you turn on the machine it rotates and takes severaal readings from different sources. one of them is for the drum, adjusting the seperation to the age of hte drum. So as the drum ages with the amount of copies it automatically adjust it self. Have the tech replace that sensor (if they haven't done so) or maybe it just has toner on it giving false readings.
