Question about Akai LCT3201AD 32 in. LCD Television
I have the same problem everyone else has. Turn on, green light comes on for a second, then goes red. I am an electronics tech for Texas Inst., so I can replace components myself. Is there a specific component that is the problem with this supply? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,Frank email@example.com
There are 3 capacitors that become defective all the time, the values are 1000uF/16 volts and they are located in between two heatsinks on the secondary side of the power supply. You should also remove HS4 to check 2 other capacitors that could become defective as well, their values are 220uF/25 volts.
Let me know if you need further assistance.
