Finding compatible upgrade to cpu 870

Instructions

1

Select the ink cartridge specific to your printer. Canon inks are versatile, so your selection may be as simple as choosing between black, color or a multi-pack with black and color cartridges.
2

Turn on your Canon printer. The switch is generally located on the top right hand side of the printer. Open the printer's lid.
3

Wait a moment. The cartridge carrier will automatically disengage.
4

Put your hand behind the existing ink cartridge and pull the cartridge towards you until it pops out. Dispose of or recycle the used cartridge.
5

Carefully pull the tape off the new cartridge.
6

Position the new cartridge into the cartridge carrier. Make sure it is facing the correct position.
7

Press the cartridge carrier gently until it clicks into place. Some cartridges have indicators to demonstrate that they are properly positioned.
8

Close the printer's lid. Print a test page to ensure everything is working properly.

I need to know how to refill my ink in my printer

Hi lisa40447,

It really depends on the make and model of your printer. But I would strongly go against refilling the ink cartridge because there is a very big possibility that you can damage your printer if you keep reusing a cartridge that has used up its life. The big problem with this is that the ink usually leaks out or "bleed" when cartridges are refilled and in turn this damages components inside the printer.

It's still a better option to just buy new ink catridges for your printers, since it is more expensive if the printer gets damaged due to usage of refilled ink cartridges.

Hope this helps!

Peace! :)

If it is not printing as it should even though the printer cable moves along the printing area, it could be a cartridge problem. If you have an old cartridge with a little ink in it, try to load it and see if the result is the same. Otherwise, you have to buy a new cartridge. Also, check if the print head is clogged with ink.

How to change printer ink cartridge

This is fairly simple. first make sure you have the proper replacement cartradge. then open the frount of your printer. your cartridge compartment should slide to the middle. to open these compartment you should look at them they should have an arrow or some sort of instructions. remove the old cartridges, take the new cartridges and make sure the securtity tape has been removed from over the bottom. then place them in the proper slots, black/color. firmly push them in, and close the ink compartments and the frount of your printer. you should be ready to go! if these instructions were not helpful, you should refer to the printers user manual and lookup ink replacement. if you have no manual, then search for your printer type and model and check out the faqs.
I hope this information was helpful.
