Heating works but drum doesnt turn.

Try turning drum, or remove top from dryer to confirm if belt has gone. When turning drum there should be some resistance as the belt fits around the drum

No longer blows hot air, only cold air

when a dryer does'ny blow hot air,it's normally either the element or the stats on the element.

You probably need a new heating element it is located behind the drum take the back panel off and turn the dryer on to see if it teurns red if not it is burnt out.

Conia CCD4501 cloths dryer not blowing hot air anymore

If you can turn it on and have the door open, hold the door switch in and see if you have a glow from the heating element. If not, your element is broken. That is if it is an electric dryer. If it is a gas dryer you need to check the pilot light or the thermo sensor.

Dryer doesnt seem to be getting hot as it usually does

We had a similar problem with our dryer just last month. It would spin and turn on, but no heat. It turned out not to be anything wrong with the heating element--it was a tiny electrical part that had malfunctioned.

Anyway, I would recommend calling in a professional if you've already cleaned your dryer and still can't get it to work. That could save you a lot of time and money in the end.

2 dryers that run but have no heat

It sounds like the gas supply is not giving you any gas, as both have the exact same symptoms. You can see the glow coil getting red hot, then the safety shuts off after a it gets no gas. If you feel confident, shut off the valve in back coming from the wall, unscrew the line where it connects to the dryer. Turn the valve back on slowly, there should be gas pressure blow out of the line.
