Samsung CLP-300N Printing Blank Pages

Help!

I have a Samsung CLP-300N that is printing blank pages. I don't mean that the toner is out...when I attempt to print, whether it's networked or local, it just spits out blank pages until I turn the printer off (resetting the printer doesn't help)

I've attempted to re-seed the Imaging Unit, the toner cartridges, empty out the toner catcher, reload the drivers, update the firmware - you understand...but nothing works.

Any ideas?

    Samsung ML-2850 prints endless blank pages if one printed page prints onto a second after a misfeed. Have to turn off printer to kill this.

    My printer only prints blank pages, endlessly, I can only shut it off. This happened after I replaced the black cartridge, and after I accidentally de-installed and reinstalled the driver, so I do not know which of both caused the malfunction. Even if the printer is not connected to the computer and I print a test page (STOP button for 5sec), the result is the same: blank pages, incessantly.

    If it prints test pages ok, (hold down button to do this) then delete the print driver before loading new one.

This is a fairly common problem, caused by a faulty black developer roller. I spoke to Samsung about mine, when it was 1 day out of the warranty and explained it started happening three weeks before (which was true). It had about 1,300 page count, when fuser kit should last 20,000. An engineer visited next day and replaced the roller, as well as a cautionary replacement of the paper pick-up rubber. Print is back working fine now. Chatting to engineer, the rollers have been modified now, so the fault must be causing concern. He said he's got another ten coming in stock tomorrow. Keep the previous toners, as they will still work once printer is fixed. I must say, Samsung support is excellent (the reason I bought from them!), so speak to them and so what they will do.

There are several firmware versions available on the Internet. Rather than playing with firmware that it is not coming from Manufacturer, you should contact the local Samsung support and get the previous firmware version from manufacturer.

Use the contact links in Samsung page, they will address you to a downgrade for the printer. Use either phone (if you are US based) or chat links at the right hand side of this page.

I have a samsung clp 300 which goes through the motions of pre printing & then stops.the red button clicks on & off. I have reloaded drivers, this does not help either


According to the CLP-300N User's Guide page 42, the problem could be

"The waste toner container is not installated or full. Check the container."

Open the front cover, the waste toner container is on the far left side in "L" shape.

Reputable or not, every once in a while you get a bad one (even originals). It's obviously defective. Return for a replacement

Not printing (paper comes out blank)


it is possible that is has problem on your printer's memory... try printing below 30 pages see if problems still persist.
