Internal speaker does not work

if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it

click start control panel administration tools computer management device manager scroll to sound video and game controllers you might see a yellow question exclamation mark? ! or a red X Right click to

reinstall drivers

click start control panel sounds and audio volume advanced speakers make sure you have selected the

(appropriate speakers) also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have the selected correct speaker settings there

click start control panel sounds and audio devices select advanced there might be a tick in the mute box untick it

if his does not fix the problem

click start control panel sounds and audio devices you can adjust the volume there also select speaker

volume you can change your settings there you can also tick in the box place icon in taskbar for any

further volume control settings you will need to right click on the speaker volume icon system select adjust volume

click start control panel sounds and audio volume advanced speakers select the appropriate speakers

from the drop down list or navigate to the device manager scroll to system devices + to expand system

speaker right click properties then select use this device (enable) also you might check

the speaker plug/outlets is usually at the back of the computer or if its a laptop on the side

you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make

sure the connection is good with no dust as dust causes static electricity

clean your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is

no MOISTURE in the air line or use a can of compressed air specifically around the sound card and the CPU central processing unit

dust causes static to build up in a computer

if its a desktop swap the speakers around if one still does not work its either a faulty speaker or the speaker connection

hope this helps

I have hp dc7600 i having problem in sound...i installed sound drivers and in device manager ther is no quetion mark means sound driver has been installed but in control panel nd in sound speech and audio...

If you have a soundcard installed it may not be seated properly or if you are using the onboard sound it may be swiched off in the bios, in which case you will have restart the computer and push whatever button is posted on the screen to enter setup (usually F2, F1, ESC, or Delete) and make sur the onboard sound is enabled. The bios setup is a little different for every motherboard so I can't give you specifics but it usually isn't too hard to figure out.

Compaq dc7600 help

Hi
Sounds like your beep codes are being caused by a Pre-video memory error, where your onboard video chip uses a portion of your ram.

first, best to unplug the power cord
try reseating the DIMM's in the memory slots on the motherboard, and then turn on your computer.

if no go.
remove all but one DIMM and try booting. if your computer boots now, then the DIMM that isnt in your computer is most likely faulty.
i would also inspect the DIMM sockets with the DIMM's out to see if there is any damage to them. have seen a number of cracked sockets and this can be a problem, with even the slightest bump causing a DIMM to move, and causing this type of error.

If you still get the error, if you reply back in here, can help you further.

hope this helps

Solution for "in hp dc7600 has not work creative 5 1 speaker"

first check out in the product manual whether it supports 5.1 channel sound system. if yes then properly connect the jack at the back of the cpu by matching the connections and then check out whether sound driver is loaded in ur pc by right click on my computer then click manage then open device manager and see whether there is any yellow mark in the sound driver. if yes then load proper sound driver and it will work for u.if nothing works then there is problem in the motherboard. don't worry take it to good engineer and it will be repaired.........

Mother board upgrade

If the trouble is only input/output of audio signals, you may consider purchasing a sound-card instead of a motherboard. A good sound card will come within 50US$ and I'd recommend Creative Audigy or Soundblaster (5.1Channel or 7.1channel) cards for a professional like you.
