I cant remember my password and i accidently put a the wrong birth date in and i cant remember it what do i do?

For people to help you, you have to give us more information like the name and brand of your Video game Console

But if this is for wii, do this

This is the solution that worked for everyone
Before you do it, make sure your wii's date and time is correct then continue

Go into the Parental controls on your Wii, then Click "I forgot on the Pin" entry page, and "I forgot on the Secret Answer" entry page. Your 8 digit confirmation code will be on the next page.
Now go to http://wii.marcansoft.com/parental.wsgi from your computer
Enter the 8 digit confirmation number there
Mater Password/Unlock Code will be giving to you

Go to your wii and put the unlock code giving to you and there you go

THIS SHOULD WORK BUT IF FOR ANY REASON IT DIDN'T WORK, YOU KNOW THAT YOU ARE THE FIRST PERSON IT DIDN'T WORK FOR. TRY STEP TWO BELOW! IT SHOULD WORK.

Call 1-800-255-3700 and tell the customer service that you forgot your password. You'll receive a new MASTER PASSWORD from them free of charge.

Please rate if this helped you or solved your problem.

I need a parental control reset code

Hi there

Click the "Wii" button located on the bottom left corner of the screen on the Wii Main menu.

Click the "Wii Settings" button on the System Settings screen. Look for the button with the wrench icon.

Move to the second page of the Wii System Settings screen by clicking the blue arrow.

Click the "Parental Controls" button on the second System Settings screen.

Click "I Forgot" when asked asked to enter your four-digit PIN.

Answer the secret question displayed on the screen. You provided the question when you set up your Wii. Note that the answer to the question is case sensitive.

If you answer correctly, you'll have access to the Parental Control Settings. Reset your PIN on this screen by entering a new PIN number and a new answer to the secret question, then clicking OK.

Click "I Forget" if you can't remember the answer to the question. Nintendo displays a message screen with text telling you to contact Nintendo customer support. At the bottom of the screen is a confirmation number.

Write down the confirmation number so you don't forget it, and leave your Wii turned on with the confirmation number screen displayed.

Call Wii customer support at 800-255-3700. Tell Nintendo customer support your confirmation number. You'll receive a master key code to reset your parental control PIN. Write down the master key code.

Return to your Wii, and click the "Enter Master Key" button. On the Master Key screen, enter the five-digit master key you received from Nintendo customer support, then click "Confirm Master Key." The Wii displays a message stating that "Parental Controls are Now Disabled." Click "OK" for the Wii to return you to page two of the Wii Systems Setting screen.

Click the "Parental Controls" button on the Wii System Settings screen. The Parental Controls screen will now show that you have no parental control settings enabled. Enter a new four-digit PIN number and secret question to reset your PIN, then click "OK."

Ive locked my dsi with parental control and carnt remember the password can u just unlock it for me

In your console enter to the parental control menu and try to change it, when asking for password then:

1. Click "I forgot" twice.

2.
Go to http://wii.marcansoft.com/parental.psp

3.
Copy the inquiry code where it says "Confirmation Number:".

4.
Select your "Current Date in your timezone:"

5.
Push the "Get Reset Code" button and get your master code.

6.
Try to change again the parental control and use the code provided, the code should work as I tested it many times.

NOTE1: the code generated in this page work as well for Wii and DSi consoles.

NOTE2: If it doesn't work the first time, try going to http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/ . Change the time/date on your DSI to match that of Tokyo, London, some other location etc and then try again.

Hi currently living back at folks and have an annoying brother who keeps using my computers and game consoles he just broke 1tb harddrive and lost all data so i need to password protect everything is there...

Advice pinched from:
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080119210336AAlIA7q

To put a password on your Wii,
Go to wii Options>Wii Settings
push the + button, and click parental Controls
Click yes and make a 4 digit pin number that's easy for you to remember, but nothing that someone could easily guess. (like the year you 1st joined a team or something) push OK, enter it again and push ok.
Choose a secret question, like what they ask you to choose when you start a new account somewhere (mother's maiden name, your place of birth, etc.) push ok and type in the answer to that question and push ok.
click "game settings and PIN" and (finally) to block one from playing games, change the "highest game rating allowed" option to something low (preferably early childhood so one wont be able to play ANY games without your permission) by pushing the down icon. hit ok, confirm, and "settings complete".

when you go to play a game, it will ask for the PIN everytime, which will eventually be a pain in the neck, but at least you'll know your games are safe

Parental control is blocking me from downloading content.

HI,

If you did not create a Live account that is not over 18 years old, it is unfortunately impossible to COMPLETELY remove the parental controls on the Xbox, however, it is possible to almost completely turn them off. If you have access to the 'parent' account of the child's account on the Xbox 360 and you have your own Xbox Live Gamertag, you can login using your Windows Live account on Xbox.com and change parental control settings.

If the "Child" account has reached the age of 18, then you need to sign into the "Parent" account and follow these steps to convert the account to an "Adult" account:

  • Go to My Xbox, and open your profile.
  • Select Manage Account.
  • Select Promote Child Account.
  • Follow the required steps.

If the "Child" account is NOT atleast 18 years old then this is how to modify the Parental Control settings (Note: You can NOT completely disable Parental Controls, games that have ratings above the neccesary age can NOT be downloaded on the "Child"account):

  • Sign in using the "Child" account's Live email address and password.
  • Click on the gamertag in the upper right hand corner of the site.
  • Click the Manage Profile button.
  • Under the Gamer Profile heading, choose "Family Settings".
  • It will now ask to sign in as the "Parent" account.
  • After signing in, you can change the Parental Control limitations.
  • When done, click the save button at the bottom of the page.
Thanks.
