Hi, You need to prise up the grill/cover that covers the speakers up and then side the keyboard up towards the screen, gently remove the plug to the Motherboard and you`re done.

Model number 9131URF keyboard has stopped working. i have put in new batteries but no luck.

if this is a wireless keyboard then you will need to re-link the keyboard to the usb device. there might be a reset button on the bottom of the keyboard and the usb device for re-linking them together. to test if it has worked by opening notepad then type some keys. if that doesn't work then you will need to un-install and re-install the wireless usb keyboard.

PC issues

There are one or two screws on the back of the CPU tower itself. Remove those sccrews and the side should slide off. Once in there and make sure that the power cable is unplugged, remove the memory and then reinsert the memory. It will have two tabs one on both sides. Check that first then if that fails it almost sounds like it might be a mother board problem.

Gateway tablet TB120 It ahs a noisy fan thats disruptive in class. I need directions to access fan so maybe it can be lubbed/.

i dont know if you can do tha by yourself but it might only be a cable that pass through where the fan blows through that affect it and cause that noise and in other case the processor fan might be having some damage in which cause that noise ok.
Have a screwdriver that can screw out the screws then turn the laptop upside down at the buttom screw out the holes carrying a keyboard symbol and from there you will screw out the four screw corner holding the case from there you will lift up the casing as if to pull up then turn over the system and remove the keyboard softly then there is a plain cable holding the keyboard then remove the keyboard clip gently and open the casing after that you will find the processor fan from there trace whatever may cause it to make the noise if you cant then you willl replace the processor fan ok.that is it then follow the procedure you use in opening to couple back the system ok.

How to replace CD-ROM in Medion MD40566

Generally what you will need to do is first open the computer case. Then you will see 2 screws on each side of the CD-Rom Drive. You will need to remove these screws. Now you should be able to slide the CD-ROM forward away from the front of the case. Before you completely remove it you will need to remove the cables at the back of the CD-ROM before removing them note the position of them. Now that the CD-ROM is removed bring it to the store and ask the associate for the correct replacement. Once you bring the replacement home installation is reverse of the listed procedure. One thing to not is the position of the Jumper on Slave, Master, or Cable Select. This will be explained on the instructions that come with the new drive. Whatever the jumper setting is on the old drive make sure it is set the same on the new drive. Once this is done turn the computer on and you should be all set. Good luck and keep me posted.

Thanks - Tech101
